My career began in the 2000s in the residential housing sector, where I worked with home builders in Phoenix, AZ. While working in this industry my initial interest in markets and investing was sparked through investing my own accounts and I realized the housing industry wasn’t a long-term career fit. This led me to pursue and complete a degree in economics at Arizona State University.

After graduating in 2010, I started my career in financial services with Charles Schwab. There I quickly grew a passion for the industry and spent the next nine years. During my tenure, I initially held various roles across trading, investments, and risk management, working both with retail investors and on the bank side of Schwab, assisting clients with equity lines of credit, mortgages, and other banking needs.

My journey then took me to Bellevue, WA, where I served as a VP-Financial Consultant for five years and earned my Certified Financial Planner designation. I primarily advised high-net-worth individuals and families, particularly pre-retirees and retirees, managing the financial plans and investments of over 400 households. During this time, I noticed a growing demand for integrating tax planning with investment management—an approach few independent advisors in Schwab’s network were offering.

From there in 2019 I joined Moss Adams a top national public accounting firm based in Seattle. As a lead advisor in their wealth management division, I worked primarily with small business owners: independent healthcare practices, IT firms, marketing firms, real estate and construction, and engineering firms. I helped them manage their personal investments and financial planning alongside their Moss CPA as their businesses grew, or planned their exit strategies, and prepare for retirement.

Towards the end of my time at Moss Adams, I relocated back to Phoenix, AZ, and spent a brief year with another national wealth management firm. However, by this time, I saw a gap in the market—friends and family, now established professionals and small business owners, didn’t fit neatly into traditional wealth management Asset Under Management models of larger firms despite being high earners in need of advice. I launched Providers Wealth to serve this need, offering clients targeted, experienced financial advice based on your evolving needs.

Family

I met my amazing wife at ASU, and we’ve been together for 16 years now. We have two incredible boys who keep us on our toes with various activities—whether it’s sports, swim lessons, or exploring jungle gyms. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me enjoying time with the family, though we still make time for the occasional date night and spending time with close friends.

Hobbies

Fitness has been a passion of mine since my late teens. My wife and I have completed a few half-marathons together, and weightlifting has always been a consistent interest of mine. Nowadays, I focus primarily on HIIT workouts and training for injury prevention.
