My career started in the home builder sector in Phoenix, AZ prior to and during the Global Financial Crisis. During this time, I earned my Economics degree at Arizona State University.
After graduating in 2010, I joined Charles Schwab and spent 9 valuable years there. Initially I held roles helping clients with trading stocks, bonds, and more complex option strategies. Then Schwab Bank clients with their mortgages and pledged asset lines. I worked my way up to VP – Financial Consultant in Seattle, WA and earned the Certified Financial Planner designation and have enjoyed nerding out on financial planning ever since. I worked with high-net-worth individuals and families, a mix of highly compensated employees, business owners, and retirees, managing the financial plans and investments for over 400 households. As an FC, I noticed ever-growing client demand for tax planning, a skillset I wanted to develop to help clients.
